Summer Arts Program
a summer of fun & learning awaits!
the ins & outs of our
Summer arts Program
What We Do:
The Keiko Studios Summer Arts Program is designed to provide a safe, supportive, and educational environment for children during the summer months when they are most vulnerable to misguided behavior due to limited structure of their daily routines. We help enhance student's overall potential for success in the upcoming school year by continuing their learning and introducing them to new concepts through a variety of activities.
How We Do It:
The summer arts program will not be operating until further notice, but typically is held from early July to mid August, weekly Monday through Friday at 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, focusing on creative expression, discipline, and character building. Music:

-
music theory
-
technique
-
sight reading
-
creative composing
-
ear training
All students will then have the opportunity to perform at the Summer Arts finale Show on their respective instruments. We cater to students of all learning styles in various genres of interest.
Tae Kwon Do:
Our Martial Arts instruction, provided by Zen Masters, focuses on Tae Kwon Do, a Korean form of Martial Arts. Tae Kwon Do is famous for its wide range of foot/kicking techniques, hand techniques, emphasis on breaking power, sparring, and the learning of formal patterns of movement. Students will be able to develop self-confidence and self-discipline, build focus and determination, and learn self-defense, self-control and anger management.
Dance:
Our dance lessons, provided by Katya Joseph of k4kreative, will introduce students to jazz and hip-hop dance techniques. Like any low-impact cardio workout, these dance lessons are a great way for our students to continue to stay active as well as further enhance creative expression and confidence through different art forms.
